Java Developer's Journal Circulation Reaches New Record,
Exceeding Java Report and Java Pro's Combined Circulation
Java Developer's Journal circulation breaks the 70,000 mark for the June '99 issue
reducing a full-page, four-color ad cost by 50%
JDJ's April newsstand sales also doubled as compared to Web Techniques, C/C++ Users Journal, Software Development, Intelligent Enterprise, MSJ, Java Report, Java Pro and others



PEARL RIVER, NY - November 16, 1999 - The qualified circulation of Java Developer's Journal print edition reached a record high of 70,017 for the June issue, according to BPA International's June 1999 initial audit report. For the June issue JDJ printed and distributed over 104,000 copies, including 13,000 bonus copies distributed at JavaOne in San Francisco. (Show copies were not included in JDJ's qualified circulation figures.)

JDJ's single copy sales also reached a record high in April among 10 leading consumer computer titles. According to BPA International, 13,179 copies were sold on the newsstands, an impressive net sales number more than twice as many copies as Microsoft Systems Journal, Web Techniques, C/C++ Users Journal, Windows NT Systems and others.
