2006 Enterprise Open Source Conference & Expo

The first annual Enterprise Open Source Conference & Expo announces that its Call for Papers is now open. Topics include all aspects of Open Source technology. The Enterprise Open Source Conference & Expo is a software development and management conference addressing the emerging technologies, tools and strategies surrounding the development of open source software.

We invite you to submit a proposal to present in the following topics. Case studies, tools, best practices, development, security, deployment, performance, challenges, application management, strategies and integration.

Speaker Candidates
Ideal candidates are i-Technology experts who have first-hand experience in building, deploying and developing the Open Source environment , perl, php, Python, Apache, Eclipse, Symbian, LAMP, MacLAMP, mySQL.

If you have something substantive, challenging, and original to offer, you are encouraged to submit a proposal. In the proposal, please highlight previous speaking engagements including classroom or course work. Please provide at least three references with respect to speaking ability, as well as contact information that will allow us to reach you to evaluate presentation skills.

Benefits of Being a Member of the Faculty
Speakers will receive unprecedented visibility in pre-conference promotion in print and online. They will also receive exposure via the accompanying conference web portal for many months prior to and following the conference. Sessions may be recorded and made available via the Internet to a wider audience (at the discretion of SYS-CON Events). Speakers will have the benefit of attending the entire conference as our guest.

Guidelines for Submitting a Proposal

  • All submissions become the property of SYS-CON Events.
  • All conference sessions are vendor-neutral. Proprietary or confidential material should not be included.
  • Submit your proposal by December 17, 2005.
  • SYS-CON will notify potential candidates beginning January 2006.
  • Draft materials for presenters are due by January 15, 2006. (Do not send materials prior to notification of acceptance, unless requested to do so by SYS-CON Events.)
  • Final materials from presenters are due by January 30, 2006.
  • All sessions are open to registered conference attendees only.
